The Sydney Startup Hub offers an innovative centre with community and event spaces available for hire. The first of its kind in Australia, Trinity is proud to have played an integral role in this NSW Government initiative. The project delivered a positive and long-lasting impact on the business startup community and cemented 11 York Street, Wynyard, as Australia’s startup capital. Over 12 weeks, our team delivered a main reception and cafe, conference and event spaces, lounge and private meeting spaces, protection and preservation of heritage elements and extensive base building upgrades This project was challenging as our team uncovered heritage elements that the design team did not foresee. These discoveries threatened the project’s budget and delivery programme as redesign ensued. To offset these unforeseen costs and mitigate the programme implications, we worked closely with NSW Treasury and Woods Bagot to value engineer parts of the scope during the construction period.
