Edmund Rice College, founded in 1926, has long been a cornerstone of educational excellence for boys in years 7 to 12 in the Illawarra. As the College celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2026, this project represents a significant investment in enhancing both the learning environment and the College’s enduring legacy. The construction works will be delivered across two stages. Stage 1 includes the construction of a new two-storey specialist Technical and Applied Sciences (TAS) facility, designed to support advanced technical and vocational learning. This stage also incorporates landscaping upgrades to create a more cohesive, functional and welcoming campus environment for students and staff. Stage 2 focuses on the refurbishment of Block B, delivering modernised learning spaces and improved accessibility. Works include the installation of a new external lift and walkway to enhance connectivity and ease of movement. In addition, Block C’s hospitality precinct will be revitalised into a modern, purpose-built learning environment. Upgrades to key access points will further ensure the campus is fully accessible and future-ready.
