PLC Sydney Preschool Lane Cove

PLC Sydney had a clear vision to transform a once disused church into a modern preschool facility for 40 children in Lane Cove. The project brief to our team was to preserve the external charm of the original church building while making the necessary alterations and additions to repurpose it. Our team stripped out the interior to make way for a new fitout designed by NBRS. Our team installed new services throughout the site, installed structural steel and concrete for external ramps, built a new carpark, completed hard and soft landscaping, erected a purpose-built children’s playground and installed DDA-compliant bathroom facilities and new amenities designed to meet the specific needs of preschool-aged children. What was once St. James Presbyterian Church in Lane Cove has now become a vibrant space filled with the joyful sounds of children taking their first steps into a structured learning environment.
