After securing the project at tender, Trinity were engaged by the client and designer to offer value engineering. Through minor alterations to the scope, we achieved the original design intent whilst securing a 25% saving for our client. The project delivered an open-plan library that bursts with natural light and inspires learning. The new design incorporates display areas to celebrate ideas, special activity corners and collaborative learning zones to support all kinds of pedagogies. With the client’s educational needs in mind, the new facility achieves an agile teaching environment that keeps children enthused and inspires self-driven learning.
