BaptistCare Warena

BaptistCare engaged our team to complete stages 1 & 2 of the BaptistCare Warena residential room refurbishment project. Under the leadership of our Site Manager, Chris Winterbourne, who brought six years of experience as a General Assistant for an aged care provider, the project was executed flawlessly within the highly sensitive site, without any incidents. The success was attributed to a collaborative approach taken by the team in managing subcontractors and coordinating with Warena unit staff. By understanding the operational requirements of the unit and adapting construction methods, sequencing, deliveries and waste management daily, all stakeholders supported each other, resulting in an overwhelmingly positive experience despite the inevitable operational disruptions for onsite residents and staff. Chris actively collaborated with BaptistCare to refine and update project documentation, ensuring smooth delivery for future stages of the refurbishment programme.
